2020 was a very challenging year for everyone, and it wasn’t different for the audiovisual sector. The cinema was the most affected for sure. The COVID-19 pandemic caused severe disruption to the industry, with movie’s productions being stopped and postponed, movies theatres remained closed for several days, and also many films achieved a lower than usual box office returns in comparison to previous years, according to Forbes, American business magazine.

1 – The Eight Hundred

Plot: In different parts of rural China, various people explore what makes their communities unique.

4 -Tenet

Plot: In a twilight world of international espionage, an unnamed CIA operative, known as The Protagonist, is recruited by a mysterious organisation called Tenet to participate in a global assignment that unfolds beyond real-time. 5 – Demon Slayer: Mugen Train

7 – Dolittle

10 – The Sacrifice (Jin Gang Chuan)

Plot: In 1953, the Korean War is entering the final stage. The People’s Volunteer Army of China has launched the last major battle in Kumsong. In order to arrive at the battleground on time and deliver enough force to the Kumsong front line, the soldiers have to defend themselves against the never-ending bombing of enemy bombers and race with time to repair bridges, all under the circumstance of supply shortages and inferior equipment.
